Deborah Dameron (The Tax Lady) |
Ms. Dameron considers herself a local Virginian even though she was born in San Antonio, Texas and spent six (6) years in Heidelberg Germany.She is a graduate of Computer Leaning Center (1981, with honors), where she studied computer programming. She then attended Mary Washington College; however, life choices lead to choosing her marriage and four (4) amazing sons instead of completing her B.S. in Computer Science. In the early 90's, she began her career in taxes with a job at Intuit, where she provided tech support for individual/business professional tax software. She was on the UTH test team, which was electronic filing in its infancy, and then she was chosen for Intuit's insurance website development team (she passed the VA state board test and obtained her life/health/property/casualty licenses).
In 1998, she began preparing taxes for one of the largest national tax preparation chains, and was promoted to supervisor in 2002. She opened and managed her first kiosk in 2004 (eventually there where 3 kiosk locations which the Franchise owner closed in August 2013), and became Franchise Manager of her own office in 2007. Her forte is bringing individual and/or businesses into IRS/state compliance and/or assisting clients to remove leins and/or levies on pay or property. She concentrates on educating clients on their unique tax situations. In 2001, she began her private practice, The Tax Lady, and in October of 2013 left the national chain and formed a new partnership, AAA Tax Plus LLC, to provide a more affordable and customer conscious tax service for indivuals and/or small businesses. Deborah is a registered tax return preparer (RTRP) with the IRS and a notary public. Currently she is looking forward to expanding her legacy by helping others. She's a proud grandmother of six (6) amazing grankids. Her focus is to ensure your needs are met. | |||
Barbra Griffith |
Mrs. Griffith is a lifelong resident of Fredericksburg. She worked for a large, national tax preparation chain for over 15 years. She is a registered tax return preparer (RTRP) with the IRS, a notary public, and a member of several local organizations to include Bethel Baptist Church. | |||
Wanda Pittman |
Mrs. Pittman is a lifelong resident of the Fredericksburg area. She has been preparing taxes for over 20 years and worked for a large national chain for over 15 of those years. Wanda loves meeting new people and truly enjoys helping clients. She is a devoted wife and mother of 3 children. She is a registered tax preparer (RTRP) with IRS.
In addition, Mrs. Pittman has worked at various libraries for over forty (40) years- Simpson Library, Mary Washington University. Due to her experience as a librarian, she is very detail oriented and is always striving for perfection. | |||
Erin Pittman-Saville |
Erin has worked as a part-time receptionist and assistant manager for AAA Tax Plus LLC in the past four (4) years. Currently, she is a Jr. Partner and a newly certified tax preparer. | |||
Gifty Laryea |
Ms. Laryea is a proud mother of two. She has resided in VA since 2012. She attended Northern Virginia Community College for her Associate Degree in Business Administration and graduated in 2018 with honors. She then transfereed to George Mason University and majored in Accounting and attained a Bachelor of Science with honors. She began an intership with AAA Tax Plus LLC and is now an official partner. Currently Ms. Laryea is finalizing her CPA. Ms. Laryea primary focus is bookeeping services; however, she is also a newly certified tax preparer. | |||
Dennis L. Silver |
Mr. Silver is a native local Virginian. He graduated from Stafford Senior HS in 1984. He has a B.B.A. in Management from James Madison University (1988) and a B.S. degree in Computer Sciences with Honors from Strayer Univerity (2010). Mr. Silver has worked as a tax preparer for years; however, he is now one of our tax processors and will be shifting to the IT Management Role. | |||
